The Benefit: There is zero lye left in the finished bar. We "super-fat" our recipes, meaning we add extra oils so that every molecule of lye is used up, leaving behind only skin-loving nutrients.

We use pure, distilled water to dissolve the lye and allow the oils to blend perfectly.
